
Call for Papers
International Congress on Calvin Research
The 14th international Congress on Calvin Research will take place on July 27-31 (Tuesday to Saturday), 2027 in Jakarta, Indonesia, hosted by the International Reformed Evangelical Seminary.
Note: The program on Saturday focuses on the evangelism ministry of Dr. Stephen Tong, founder of the International Reformed Evangelical Seminary. The program for that day includes a morning seminar on evangelism and an evening concert. Lunch is included for all participants.
In addition to the plenary papers and the seminars, the program for the congress includes the possibility for a number of short presentations of research on John Calvin´s life and work. The conference theme is Calvin, church, and society – short papers may address these themes or other aspects of Calvin studies. Therefore, the Presidium invites scholars to send in their proposals.
The following conditions have been set:
- papers should have a length of maximum 20 minutes;
- papers should present new research;
- papers should be in English;
- presenters should have completed the M.A. degree;
- proposals should include a paper title, an abstract of 100–200 words, and a short c.v.
