The 13th international Congress on Calvin Research will take place from July 25 to July 28, 2023 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, hosted by the H. Henry Meeter Center for Calvin Studies at Calvin Theological Seminary and Calvin University. The congress theme is John Calvin, Exile, and Religious Refugees.
In addition to the plenary presentations, the program for the congress includes concurrent panels of short presentations of research either directly related to the congress theme or on other aspects of John Calvin’s life and work. Therefore, the Presidium invites scholars to send in their proposals.
The following conditions have been set:
– papers should have a length of maximum 20 minutes (about twelve double-spaced pages);
– papers should present new research; languages should be English, French or German;
– presenters should have completed the M.A. degree;
– proposals must include a title for the presentation, an abstract of 100–200 words, a descriptive paragraph about the presenter for the panel convener, and a short c.v. (one to two pages maximum)
